DECORATION INSPIRATION OF THE WEEK: ACCENT CHAIRS

Many activities can take place in a living room. The living room acts as the social mecca of your home where friends, family, and pets can come together.

Making a statement with your furniture can create a new aesthetic in any room. Choosing the perfect accent chair is where personal taste and functionality meet.

Traditionally accent chairs have only been used to serve as extra seating for guests. Accent chairs have now been becoming more and more of a stylish statement accessory in a room.

There are many different types of pieces to shop around for that can match your personal taste, whether that being modern or cozy. For example you can experiment with bright colors, or loud textures. Maybe the chair reclines or even rocks!

A simple chair can bring such flair to a room and proves that you don’t always need to make a big change to add more character to your home.

What comes to mind when you think of an American themed room?

Stars and Stripes? Hard wood floors?
Nautical Accessories? Red, white, and blue colors?

Well there is so much more out there to bring this style into your home!

An American stylized home can fit anywhere, whether you live in Miami, New York, or Texas. I found an interesting article that depicts the many ways to bring this aesthetic to life.

The Europeans directly impacted the beginning of American architecture. This form of architecture had been adapted to the many different climates in the United States. Wood was used a lot due to foresting by the settlers. Antiques can express a very Americana vibe as well.

There are so many beautiful ways to admire the U.S.A.

Strong opinions and high emotions can get the best of us when deciding on furniture and wall colors. Here are some helpful tips to equally share creative vision in any room of your home!

1. Cost: Money will always be a main issue when it comes to decorating. The best thing you can do it set a clear budget before you begin any projects. This will avoid any discrepancies when the creative juices get flowing.
